Wai-Lian is the brilliant product designer who made these rings. As you can see they are half-transparent, and when worn together on same finger create a multi layered look which is very theatrical - with the scenery in the back and the “actors” (the animals in this case) in the front. Like many of Wai-Lian works, it is clever, with an elegant simplicity to it and is playful and full of humor, without becoming merely a gimmick.
Wai-Lian, who lives and works in London, is “13-88 years old - I’m very immature some days and very old the next”.
