Shopping in NYC

We came across this captivating Chie Mihara shoe in Verve, 338 Bleecker st. Manhattan. Apparently, Verve were the first American boutique to carry the shoes of this Japanese descendant Brazilian designer,
who these days lives in Spain with her husband the pediatrician – one of the reasons her shoes are not only drop dead gorgeous, but considered very comfortable.

The shoes is $358 at Verve

You can also check out the designer’s site at

Another worth while place to check out in that same neighborhood is Fanny K Bijoux boutique, which carries a great selection of gold jewelry, both by the owner herself and by others, all delicate interpretations on both ethnic and western romantic themes. The entire selection is now on sale.

Love Chie Mihara – they will also be sold at new online boutique, Scarpasa (http://www.scarpasa.com) beginning April, along with the other amazing independent European designers that are already up there now. Check it out!
