This outfit is from the Autumn-Winter 08 collection by Potipoti, called Totem.
The Potipoti folk claim their name came to them while “surfing the net and discovering a lost island in the Pacific Ocean called Potipoti.” Their goal, they say, “is to eventually conquer Potipoti Island and live there forever, drinking avocado milkshakes and having a good time.”
Whether the island is legendary or real (hint: I urge you to look it up) the people of Potipoti are very much for real. They are Silvia Salvador, 29, and Nando Cornejo, 34, from Spain, Salamanca, but are both living in Berlin since 2001.
Potipoti are not at the very start of their career as most of the designers we feature here on Sense of Fashion, but already had their breakthrough. They now sell their clothes all over Europe, and also in Israel and Japan.
Did you study fashion?
We actually both studied fine arts, but we have always been attracted to fashion, particularly to textile design and stamping, so we’ve been gradually taking steps to reach the current situation by designing collections every 6 months.

What went through your head when it happened?
Oh my God!

Autoersatzteile June 4, 2010 at 12:38 am

Wir sind sehr zufrieden, muss aber keinesfalls beipflichten. Das ist genau richtig und ich vergleiche das wie folgt, seit wir alte Autoersatzteile fuer unser PKW kaufen haben wir sehr viel Geld gespart
